Born in Milyatino, Smolensk province, 1919.
Studied at the Art-Craft College of the Dulevo ceramics factory c.1937; at the Moscow Art Institute/Surikov Institute 1940-49.
Active in Moscow.
Began exhibiting 1949. Member of the Union of Soviet Artists.
Participant of all major All-Union and All-Russia Art exhibitions.
The leading Moscow post-war impressionist landscape painter.
The paintings are founded in the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, regional museums of Russia Federation; private collections in France, Holland, GB, Germany.
Died 1992.
